The Death Of Juice WRLD
Jarad Anthony Higgins, better known as Juice WRLD, recently passed away on December 8th, 2019. He had just turned 21 and was flying to Chicago on a private jet with his friends.
Juice WRLD was a Chicago rapper, singer, and a songwriter who got a famous and grew his fan base in 2018 after his hit singles “Lucid Dreams” and “All Girls Are The Same”. His popularity progressed worldwide and he started doing collabs with renowned artists like, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Eminem, and Future. In March 2018, he signed a multimillion dollar partnership with Lil Bibby’s Grade A Productions and Interscope Records. At the time of his death, his net worth was around $4 million dollars and he was the most-promising new rap artist in the hip-hop industry.
On December 8th, 2019, Juice WRLD was flying on a private Gulfstream jet from Los Angeles and was headed to Midway International Airport in Chicago. When he landed, several law enforcement officers were waiting for him as they received a tip from the pilot that the jet was carrying guns and drugs. Later, they revealed that they found three handguns along with 70 lb (32 kg) of marijuana on the private jet. Juice WRLD’s friends also corroborated that he had swallowed “several unknown pills” in an attempt to hide them from the officers while they were going though their luggage on the jet. They were alleged to be Percocet pills and the main cause of his death.
Juice WRLD than began convulsing and seizing, and the police officers gave him two doses of the emergency medication Narcan as they suspected an opioid overdose. He was later taken to the nearby Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead.
His funeral was held on December 13th, 2019 in Harvey, Illinois where his friends and family attended, including the famous artists, Ski Mask the Slump God and Young Thug. Numerous celebrities reacted to his mournful death like Drake, Meek Mill, Lil Uzi Vert, Snoop Dogg, and many more.
